zurg.club: Optimized Plex+zurg Server Setup

A semi-managed Plex server that can handle h/w transcodes for $50/month

What will you get?

  1. A dedicated server with 64gb ram and iGPU and 1Gbps port and an optimized zurg and Plex setup
  2. Plex accessible through https://yoursubdomain.zurg.club
  3. Requires Plex Pass: can handle 4k streams with h/w transcoding
  4. Your root access to the server (provided as a username+password)
  5. You can do anything you want afterward. It's your server now.

Allow me a maximum of 48 hours to set everything up, it's a personal and custom process so it's only half automated

Trial

I can add you to a "trial" Plex server for you to test speeds. There is a lot of 4K content here for transcoding. Just send me your Plex username.

Support

  1. Chat support via Discord provided that you keep my root access to the server for debugging issues (I'm on CET)
  2. I can jump on calls for $120 per hour by appointment (I priced it like this because I prefer Discord)

Note I will only attend to supporting issues on Plex or zurg in the server. What I am accountable for is what I have only touched.

Payment

This is to be done via Github Sponsorship, $50/month tier. You accept the risk that anytime the ban circumvention can be detected by Real-Debrid so we only go monthly just to be safe.

Absolutely no data is kept after stopping the payment, I will delete the server.

How do we do this?

  1. After sponsoring, message me on Discord (my username is on the welcome message)
  2. I will need your (1) RD token for zurg (2) preferred datacenter location: Finland or Germany (3) preferred subdomain
  3. I will inform you the ETA of the server setup process
  4. After I am done setting up, I will need you to send me your Plex claim token https://www.plex.tv/claim/ The code is only live for 5 minutes
  5. Once that is done, the server is ready to be used. You can add new content via Debrid Media Manager, edit zurg's config, add *Arr stack, setup plex_debrid, up to you.

You already have your own server?

I can do it for a one-time setup fee of $150.
